A Patented Platform at the Intersection of Cannabinoid Science and Drug Delivery

The global medical cannabis market is valued at roughly $44 billion in 2025, growing at over 13 percent annually through 2033. The acidic cannabinoid segment, specifically CBDA, THCA, and CBGA, represents one of the least explored and most promising corners of that market. The single factor holding it back has been instability. That problem now has a patent.

Mingowood Pharmacal holds U.S. Patent No. 12,377,109, issued in August 2025, covering the formulation and noncovalent stabilization of olivetolic acid derivatives. Our Intercalyx™ platform is the only commercially available, patented solution to the acidic cannabinoid stability problem. It is built for licensing across pharmaceutical, wellness, and consumer health applications.

Why Mingowood

  • Issued U.S. patent with first-mover advantage in acidic cannabinoid stabilization.
  • Led by Dr. Benjamin Cameransi, who co-founded Lyotropic Therapeutics, secured FDA approval for Ryanodex with Orphan Drug Designation, and guided multiple companies to NASDAQ listings.
  • Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Dave Anderson holds a strong patent allowance track record across pharmaceutical drug delivery, including LNP-based systems used in RNA vaccines and gene therapy.
  • The licensing model generates multiple revenue streams: upfront fees, royalties, and co-development partnerships.
  • Pharmaceutical-grade excipients and no NCE requirements mean favorable regulatory positioning for partners.
